I immediately called Enrico for training advice, and soon thereafter, he came to my house (since we were all on lockdown) and helped acclimate Luna to the basics of training. I'll always be grateful for signing up for classes with Rico with my first working-line German Shepherd puppy some 20 years ago. The weekly classes took place in a large field and were attended by people with dogs of different ages and breeds. What a treat it was to be guided by someone who is consistently positive and serene; he is not only a phenomenal trainer but also an unequaled pedagoge who, with his sense of humor and patience, makes even the most insecure handler feel comfortable and become competent (take it from me :)!
Today, I train dogs professionally in narcotics, explosives, and bed bug detection (yes, you read correctly, "bed bug"), and I have Rico to thank for inspiring me to pursue a career in training.
